To the Editor:
A recent report tells us that Britain now produces more wind powered electricity than the rest of the world combined.
It also says that it costs twice as much as power generated from fossil fuels, coal, oil and gas, and 50 percent more than nuclear.
Once again let’s be careful what we wish for—electricity at 28 cents per KWH would finally destroy any hope of Maine being competitive in the world.
