To the Editor:
I was a visitor in your area during the last week of May. While there, I became ill and needed to be admitted to hospital.
I have been a patient in too many hospitals in my 81 years, and when my son-in law (who is a physician) insisted that I go, I did so. He told me that your hospital had an excellent reputation for care, but I wondered how this could be possible. How could a 56-bed hospital be any better than Moffett Cancer Center in Tampa or Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind,: places with a fine reputation for care?
For those of you who live here, I have wonderful news: I have never had better care in any hospital in my life!
The doctors, nurses, and people who do the administrative work are the best there is. I was treated as if I were a rich uncle who had not completely filled out the will. Those of you who are permanent residents have an excellent facility where, if you have to go there, you will have the best of care, and, the food is excellent.
