To the Editor:
The citizens of Waldoboro have a wonderful opportunity to hear the views, priorities and visions of the candidates for the open seats on our select board.
On Thursday, June 4, at 7 p.m. in the meeting room of the town office, the candidates will answer questions and offer perspectives on their future role as select persons. This is a great time to bring up your concerns about our town and learn more about the character of our candidates.
In addition to this chance to speak to them in person, this meeting will air on LCTV channel 7 and can be watched on-line at http://lctv.org. This will allow people who are less mobile, have transportation issues, or are home with small children to hear the points of view from these candidates.
I encourage you to attend this meeting, if at all possible, and to bring your questions. It would be a shame to miss this public forum event.
