To the Editor:
The Damariscotta Police Department Kitchen Project is $1,050 away from the fundraising total needed to construct a kitchen area at the department. This project was approved at the recent town meeting by the voters of Damariscotta.
I appeal to the members and friends of the community to donate directly to an account established at the Camden National Bank titled Damariscotta P.D. Kitchen/Nancy Finnemore.
It would be wonderful for these defenders and helpers of our town to have a small area with a sink, base cabinets and a few small appliances. Many thanks to all the thoughtful people who have contributed. For any questions call me 563-6468.
