To the Editor:
Wendy Pieh has served the citizens of Lincoln County well. She has proven to be a hard worker, bi-partisan problem solver and thoughtful policy maker. As a farmer, she understands the issues facing agriculture. As a selectman she understands the issues facing our communities. As a person representing the coast and former member of the Marine Resources committee, she understands the challenges facing our important fisheries.
Wendy Pieh has proven herself in office, as a businesswoman and even on the campaign trail as she continues to knock on doors to learn even more about the issues facing her constituents.
Wendy works hard and never shies away from a challenge. She is currently chairing the committee charged with finding efficiencies in the natural resource agencies. She even developed the legislative language that stopped the full speed ahead, not well thought out proposal to merge them all.
These are challenging times; in the 124th legislature there will only be one person who has responsibility for District 50 – that person will need experience, determination and skill to meet those challenges. Wendy Pieh has all of that and more. I know because I served in the Legislature with her. I work with her on agriculture businesses and am very pleased to call her my friend.
District 50 needs Wendy Pieh’s voice in the Legislature, and frankly all of us who care about the rural economy need her as well!
Please vote for Wendy Pieh, District 50.
