I read with interest the “Chimney Sweep Critiques Shoddy Servicing Jobs” article. I’m the owner of Townline Chimney Services, also based in Waldoboro. I’d like to take this opportunity to assure my current and potential customers that the inspection and report in question was not performed by me or anybody representing Townline Chimney Services.
That’s not the way I run my business and I do not condone the practice of scare tactics to make a few bucks. I would, however, be very interested in knowing who filed the MSHA report, as I’m sure your readers would. Is there a reason this information was not included in the article?
