To the Editor:
Re: Stars Jewelry and Skidompha Library (July 22 LCN).
Obviously no one at this center of learning has even read “Dogs 101.” Two lessons to be learned: “Be loyal to your owner” (in this case fellow townspeople and merchants) and of course that real old one, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”
I hope that all merchants in Damariscotta do not donate to this absolutely unnecessary monstrosity plopped into a “National Register of Historic properties.”
Perhaps Skidompha Library will donate their profits from this sale to put the steeple on the church, and say three mea culpas to the town in this time of “Great Recession.”
All I can say to Frieda Hanlon is “You go girl!”
