To the Editor:
Crossing the bridge this morning I was sadly surprised to see the swags and wreaths were made of fake fir. What gives? In the great state of Maine, we can’t use real trees? Is this some kind of environmental statement? Gosh, I hope not. Or is it that we’re worried about them not making it to Christmas? If so, how about we wait until after Thanksgiving to put them up. Sigh.
