To the Editor:
The Dec. 5 Christmas Town & Craft Fair hosted by Jefferson Fire & Rescue was a great success. A record number of crafters and artisans filled the apparatus bay at the firehouse, as children enjoyed Christmas Town and a visit with Santa.
The goal for funds raised from this event is to help put some smiles on the faces of children and their families who may need some help this Christmas.
I’d like to express my thanks to those people who gave their time or sponsored this year’s event; everyone who made home cooked food for Mrs. Claus’s kitchen; to the firefighters who helped with set-up and taking-down Christmas Town and the crafters’ tables and to the Masons who graciously let us use the tables every year.
Thank you to everyone who helped this year, you all helped make a difference.
Bonnie Mank, Jefferson
