To the Editor:
We wish to say thank you to the Damariscotta policemen on duty at the municipal parking lot the night of the 4th of July. They kept good order amidst the ebullient crowd, and they handily took care of the foul-mouthed infiltrator who had to be cuffed for disorderly conduct.
We are fortunate to have a police department that is watchful and properly responsive in these situations.
