To the Editor:
The support Junior Girl Scout troop 2144 from Damariscotta received at the Early Bird Sale was fantastic. The scouts offered gift-wrapping services that morning and raised more than $60 in donations. The girls would like to thank the community for its support and send a special thank you to Darcy Knof of Country Coach Charters, who challenged the girls to meet their $60 goal and offered to take the girls for a ride in her limousine, which was parked near by. With the help of all the generous shoppers that morning the scouts exceeded their goal and had a wonderful limousine ride up and down the main street.
Thanks once again to all the wonderful people who helped us.
