To the Editor:
Morning Dew Farm deserves a round of applause for their loyal support of the Ecumenical Food Pantry and People to People’s Thanksgiving Basket Project. They were more than generous with their contributions of a wide variety of wholesome organic produce all during the growing season and again at Thanksgiving.
Despite their busy summer schedule, Brendan McQuillen and Brady Hatch took the time to gather their surplus and send it to the Second Congregational Church in Newcastle for the Food Pantry every Tuesday. At first, they delivered themselves, until they needed all their available hands, and they asked for a volunteer to pick up. Ray McConnell assumed that job and enjoyed his trip to the farm every Tuesday.
All those who benefited will surely join in a sincere ‘thank you’ to the good people at Morning Dew Farm.
