To the Editor:
Good news! The Damariscotta Police Department recovered my property, which was stolen from my vehicle during this past run of burglaries from vehicles. I debated whether to report it, as so often it is a futile attempt to get stolen property back.
However, they had retrieved it. In a word, awesome!
I know there is a lot concern and debate regarding the Police Department and the need for 24- hour coverage and its costs. Well, it’s hard to make case against good police coverage with such positive results.
Great job and thank you to the Damariscotta Police.
