To the Editor:
I want to thank the Town of Newcastle Selectmen and Town Manager for sending Glidden Street a “real” street-cleaning truck that did a fine job, creating only a minimum of dust. This time, no mushroom clouds high above our houses, half the winter’s sand pasted to our house fronts, coating our lawns and respiratory systems, as in the past.
You heard our cry and I thank you.
