To the Editor:
Herman Cain came from a poor family. He grew up in Atlanta, Ga. His mother and father had a very strong work ethic and sent him to college. He graduated from Morehouse College with a BS in mathematics. He went on to Purdue and got his master’s in computer science.
He started out working as a ballistics analyst for the US Navy. He went to Coca Cola as a computer systems analyst. Then he continued on to Pillsbury and managed 400 Burger King stores. He was then appointed president and CEO of Godfathers Pizza Chain. This chain was headed to bankruptcy but Cain turned it around and the chain is still going today.
Cain has had many more successful accomplishments in his career. He is a problem solver. Our country needs a problem solver in 2012. Maine elected a problem solver in 2010, our Governor. Maine needs to elect a problem solver in 2012, Herman Cain, our next President.
