To the Editor:
A reminder to everyone enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner that when you say a prayer of thanks for all your blessings, please add a prayer for all our young men and women who cannot be there with you. Yes, I know we all feel that loss and in some cases, more than others.
I tell you this because I am sure many military people are feeling alone, even surrounded by others. Home is where the heart is and each and every one of them would rather be home for Thanksgiving.
If you can, please give a call to your loved ones on this Thanksgiving Day.
