To the editor:
Three weeks ago, I placed five signs at the intersection of Route 130 and Huddle Road in New Harbor. Four days ago, they were all stolen. Speculating as to who is behind this vandalism serves no purpose. The point is that it’s a crime, not a prank or a protest.
If you see political signs being vandalized, try to capture the license, make, and color of the vehicle and identifying characteristics of the individuals. A clear photograph or video would be even better. Provide that information to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office or local police. They do have more serious matters to deal with, but people who commit crimes are criminals and everyone doing or encouraging this should have an introduction to Jon Liberman’s office!
