To the Editor:
On Sunday, September 19th, a Turkey Dinner was held at Meenahga Grange Hall in Waldoboro to benefit the Waldoboro Food Pantry. The benefit dinner, sponsored by the Waldoboro Democratic Committee, raised $905, with all proceeds going directly to the Waldoboro Food Pantry.
Many people worked and contributed to make this event possible. I would like to thank the many friends and neighbors of the Food Pantry who attended the dinner and all the volunteers who cooked, served, cleaned or otherwise contributed. A thank you also goes out to the Meenahga Grange for the use of the hall.
