To the Editor:
We are all wicked bummed out down here in Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and Florida… we’ve heard the awful sad news about “White Runner” and how there’s no good place to put a rivet because of the rust cancer.
You folks up there in Scotty need to get it together and find some wheels for putting under our friends Marilyn and Elden so they can get back to traveling out and about to all those friendly places around Lincoln County.
We are hoping and praying that some good soul or benevolent organization can come to the aid of such a good and wonderful writer as Marilyn Beane so she can keep us up to date with all the “comings and goings” that make her weekly column so much fun for all of us to read and share with our friends.
Is there a donation jar on a counter somewhere where we can send to? Can’t someone up there help?
