For a long time now, all we anti-illegal immigration advocates have been hearing, in our perpetual battle with illegal aliens, are the sanctuary cities, who keep screaming that “illegals” should be catered to and protected.
These cities play a major role in harboring illegal alien criminals after they have broken city, state and federal laws How and why they’ve been allowed to adopt these incorrigible laws prohibiting city employees and law enforcement from notifying the federal government that they have arrested an illegal alien and set them free is beyond comprehension.
There are many national organizations throughout our fair country such as Americans For Immigration Control (AIC), Minutemen Protection Program and countless others all constantly fighting on our behalf.
I’ll now advise you concerning my latest report received from them regarding a few of the injustices that have been perpetrated by these illegal criminals in a few of these cities that have adopted these egregious, bizarre laws and philosophies.
In Newark, N.J., an illegal alien, who had repeatedly been protected by the city’s Sanctuary City policy, along with other MS-l3 gang members, brutally attacked, sexually assaulted, and then murdered three innocent young people execution-style by forcing them to kneel and shooting them in the back of the head.
In Virginia Beach, Va., two teenaged girls were killed when a car driven by Alfredo Ramos slammed into the back of the car driven by the girls while they were waiting at a red light. Ramos’s blood alcohol level was well over the legal limit at the time of the crash. Regrettably, Ramos should not even been on the roads.
He was arrested twice before on drunk driving charges. He should have been tried, sentenced, imprisoned, and then deported after serving his time. Unfortunately for these children, Ramos committed his crimes in a “Sanctuary City” and was released after paying a small fine.
In Austin, Texas, an l8-year-old college freshman was brutally stabbed to death in her own house, in her own room, and in her own bed. The alleged murderer is an illegal immigrant named David Diaz-Morales, who had previously been arrested and charged with child molestation. However, instead of facing deportation, he was released back into the general public because of Austin’s status as a Sanctuary City.
On June 22, a 2l-year-old illegal alien and gang member gunned down three innocent U.S. citizens in broad daylight in downtown San Francisco. The accused killer was Edwin Ramos, an illegal alien from El Salvador who had been repeatedly arrested (and released) by San Francisco police.
Ramos showed no mercy for Anthony Bologna (48) or his two sons Michael (20) and Matthew (l6) on June 22 in the mistaken belief that they were rival gang members. Ramos is said to have used an AK-47 to gun down and kill all three men in cold blood
Granted, Ramos should have been in prison at the very least. The fact that he was not handed over to U.S. officials by the city police is an exemplification of the rotten injustice of a Sanctuary City!
Repeated harassment by U.S. Justice Foundation and other allied organizations fighting these absurd and rotten laws, then accused Mayor Newsom, the open-borders, pro-illegal immigration politician of San Francisco directly responsible for this criminal act.
Since the killings, an embarrassed Mayor Newsom has now rescinded the policy of harboring illegal aliens in San Francisco custody. This reversal of policy is a tremendous achievement but we must remember that it won’t help potential victims in dozens of other deluded sanctuary cities.
It does serve, however, as a classic example to other cities and may wake them up to the reality that by becoming a protector of illegal criminals they themselves are breaking the law and not assuming responsibility for their own citizens.
Enough is enough! In effect, sanctuary cities adopting this perverted philosophy are probably functioning publicly under the guise of compassion, when in reality greed is the governing factor. Money can be made with illegal aliens. Why in God’s name would a governing body protect criminals?
In the final analysis, it will take more than rhetoric in this war against illegal immigration and these sanctuary cities harboring criminals. This is nothing short of idiocy and they must be made to understand the crime they are committing against society.
Call our elected officials now and urge them to crack down on these illicitly governed cities.
