To the editor:
For over 20 years I have been happily retired in this beautiful Midcoast area. This past week, on Wednesday, Aug. 15, I had an unsettling and troubling event happen.
After grocery shopping in the Damariscotta Hannaford store, I returned to my car in the parking lot around 9:30 a.m. to discover that the two large magnetic decals, of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots, which had been on my car trunk for at least six years, were gone.
I realize in the grand scheme of things, this is a minor event, but it does make me sad that someone would stoop to this behavior.
