To the Editor:
I am a concerned citizen who cares about public safety. I live just north of Pine View Restaurant, one of the busiest intersections in our region. I sit at my window and watch the traffic coming north on Rt. 1 and on Main Street coming north out of town with no headlights on.
It is a law, to have lights on in inclement weather, or whenever you need to use your windshield wipers. This law is mainly for your own protection. You can also be stopped by a police officer for this neglect on your part. So please use your headlights.
Please help to keep you and others safe on the highways.
