To the Editor:
As we celebrate Christmas, and later New Year’s Eve, I would hope all would take a moment to also celebrate and remember our young men and women serving all over the world.
At this time if you haven’t done so please write, e-mail, Skype a loved one, or a neighbor serving at this time. Send a care package. If you don’t know anyone, believe me those serving will still appreciate it.
Remember, we have 180 bases stationed throughout the world and many servicemen and women who may or may not receive the above. This writer, serving three years overseas, still remembers getting letters and packages, and the feeling he was not alone, so please remember.
