To the Editor:
I am writing to ask my fellow voters for their support when voting on June 28 for the SVRSU 12 education budget. It is a lot of money, but please consider that this budget is supporting eight towns with approximately five buildings.
As is true for any budget put before voters, this one has been worked and reworked to come up with a budget that supports the students and staff. Those staff are our friends and neighbors, who are also paying taxes in this RSU or another; those children are our future, the future of this town, this state and this country.
Please think of the investment that this budget represents. Our children deserve every possible advantage that we can give them, and we can give them this. Please support public education on June 28.
