To the Editor:
On the Thursday afternoon before Christmas, the staff members of Savory Maine in Damariscotta were delighted to host a holiday sing-along and finger-food-feast to raise money for two very deserving local projects: the Community Housing Improvement Program (C.H.I.P.) winter heating fund, and the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.
Everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the food, the singing and the spirit of the event, and the money raised was most welcomed by these two organizations that help to meet the needs of vulnerable people and animals in our community.
We at Savory Maine were pleased to donate our time and energy for this worthy event, and would like to warmly thank all who attended and donated.
For the staff at Savory Maine, Diane White,
