To the Editor:
In this week where we read about a dog shot full of BBs and the senseless vandalism of the Bristol school baseball field, there was a highlight in town that many may have missed.
Hearts Ever Young, a musical (and comedy) performance group for those over 65, had three performances of their musical variety show at the Lincoln Theater this past week-end. I challenge anyone to view that show and not marvel at the enthusiasm and talent on the stage. These folks practiced for months at the Lincoln Home and it can’t be too easy for some of them to get there. I know at least a few of them are age 90 or better.
Kudos to the super talented Sean Fleming, Carol Teel, Carol Cirigliano, and Carol Schell for sharing your time and talents. There are too many others who deserve credit to mention I’m sure. I have no connection with the group except as an admirer.
Congratulations, and thanks to all of you.
