To the Editor:
On May 23, a successful town-wide road clean-up was accomplished in Jefferson. Many, many thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the effort.
A special thank you for the contributions of Scott Barbour, Charlie Martin, Moore Automotive, Orff Realty, and the Tilton Agency.
Another clean-up will be scheduled for late September. Until then, if anyone is out for a walk, please take along a garbage bag and help with the ongoing effort to keep our town free of litter.
