To the editor:
Over the next two weeks (April 14-30), patients and visitors to the Miles Campus will notice some temporary changes to our parking spaces due to the construction of the new Watson Healthcare Center.
A construction fence will be installed, which will close off all vehicle and pedestrian traffic in front of the new facility. During this time, patients and visitors will be directed to park in the parking area across the street from Cove’s Edge.
There will be a shuttle service available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday for transportation around the pond area to the hospital entrance. There will continue to be a few spaces available near the emergency department entrance as well.
We hope to have this construction completed as quickly as possible and apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience this may cause.
