To the Editor:
I would like to thank all the good folks who helped me out while collecting votes for the Hospitality House during the Pop the Cause event.
On June 26, the event for Pop for Change, which is an event similar to and in conjunction with “Pop the Cause,” took place. I am sorry to say Hospitality House was not the winner. We did win $20,000, even by losing. Not to be sad, as we were told we had lost by only a small margin.
That is pretty good, since we are a fairly new startup. Meals on Wheels was the lucky recipient of the $100,000. If we had to lose to someone, I am glad it was to Meals on Wheels.
I also want to send a big thank you to Yellowfront Grocery for allowing me to use their space to set up. I really appreciate it as well as I appreciate all of you.
