To the Editor:
The Nobleboro Historical Society’s AppleFest Committee wants to thank all the folks who came to AppleFest last Saturday and the many community organizations and people who donated and helped to make the ninth revival another wonderful success.
About 450 people attended, including some who said, “We just saw the signs and came over – and this is so much fun!” Everyone agreed that it was delightful to be with smiling, toe-tapping folks enjoying the Damariscotta Lake Country Band, good food, unique crafts, Camp Kieve’s Leadership School kids’ activities, and the more than 85 high-quality silent auction items.
The hard-working Nobleboro Central School 8th grade class helped make AppleFest a winner and they thank everyone who came to their food table to support their class project.
The proceeds from AppleFest will support scholarships and the events and activities of Nobleboro Historical Society. What a great community we live in and together we can do anything.
