To the Editor:
I would like to say a big thank you to the CHIP volunteers who came to my old house for Community Cares Day on Sept. 12.
These wonderful people put a new roof on two sections of the old farmhouse, patched a hellish hole on the back side as well as scraping and painting trim that hasn’t been touched in many years.
Thank you one and all. Thanks to your generosity and kindness I am looking forward to staying warm and dry for many years to come.
