To the Editor:
I wanted to take the time now that the election has passed to thank all of the people who volunteered on my campaign for State Senate. To begin, I want to thank my wife, Pam, whose support and patience during the campaign season kept me going. I also want to thank Becky Morrell and her family, who served as my treasurer, driver, organizer and all around support base.
I also want to thank all the people who volunteered to put signs up and take signs down. The people who spoke to their neighbors and family about my campaign and what we hope to accomplish in Augusta. Thank you Paige Greene and all the young people that volunteered. Without your help and support we would not have met with success on Election Day.
I would like to thank the voters who gave me the opportunity to serve the people of Senate District 20. I will work hard and I hope everyone will feel welcome to contact me with concerns and questions.
Finally, thanks to Rep. Peter Rines for a clean and well run campaign.
Senator-elect David Trahan, Waldoboro
