The Wiscasset High School chapter of the National Honor Society thanks the students and the parents and guardians of the students who participated in the National Honor Society-sponsored Penny War.
The Penny War occurred over three weeks in February with grades seven through 12 participating. Members of the National Honor Society counted and wrapped over 12,000 pennies and all of the profits were given to the School Spirit Challenge. A total of $247.68 was made from this successful Penny War.
Again, thank you for your spare coinage that you sent with your students to school.
