To the Editor:
Perhaps someone of my generation will enjoy my thoughts.
Thinking about it, I can imagine the dear tree waiting patiently for spring to be decked out with new green leaves. It will be a new frock to show off its regal frame.
Today, Sunday morning, I am again thinking that it can apply to me. Aging is for me sort of like this tree. I am taking care of myself awaiting spring, but at the same time am enjoying the crispness and pristine colors of winter.
How much fun it will be for me this year to once again discard the winter clothing and to walk along the shore with my dog, Daisy, and enjoy the sunshine and salt air?
