To the Editor:
The state of Maine spends millions of dollars every year fighting drug abuse; from enforcement to care and treatment to broken families and ruined lives.
Now comes a group intent on the legalization of marijuana, the gateway drug to hard drug usage. All you people who are going to scream that isn’t a gateway drug, give up your daily use of it for a couple of weeks, sit down and think about it.
