To the Editor:
It seems to me as if politics were now a stand-off between collective citizens (corporations) and individual citizens (like you and me.)
Should we form “Individuals United” cells to lobby for what used to be our rights? Or should we contrive to live variously under the radar, using a barter economy, tokens and other informal currency (not Bit-Coins, which are corporate contrivances): pull our funds from whatever investments we have and form small mutual banks, or sew it all up in mattresses?
Horses and donkeys might regain their transportation importance, thus reducing dependence on petroleum. We could build windmill devices like they have in the Midwest.
In whatever ways we can, we should just ignore the corporations to death.
The government will have to choose who to govern, corporations or people. We will be like community planning overlays, cycling around one another, without touching. Oh, brave new world!
