To the Editor:
In a time when so many of us are concerned with making our state government efficient, I am pleased we have such a hard-working senator representing Lincoln County.
David Trahan recognized that state government can and should be more efficient. He worked tirelessly to create the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability. The Office works to evaluate the performance of Maine state government, laws and rules and without David’s efforts, it would not have been created.
David brings his work ethic to all he does and represents us very well in Augusta. The endorsements he has received by a number of business, education and natural resource groups are a testament to his willingness to find practical solutions to a number of issues.
Thanks for your hard work on our behalf. I hope we vote to re-elect David for another two years.
