To the Editor:
I was amused reading the Portland newspaper endorsement of Chellie Pingree, a candidate whose biggest priority is to impeach President Bush, for U.S. Congress.
Impeaching a president with only two months left in office is absurd. Congress has better things to do.
We need common sense in Augusta as well as in Washington, not more of the same!
Wake up Maine, in this crucial election, vote with common sense, not with emotion!
