The Fair Tax Act of 2009 would eliminate the need for the IRS. Social Security and Medicare are funded from consumption tax revenue. You will not be required to fill out any income tax forms. Wages, savings, and investments are not taxed. Taxpayers pay the same rate. All taxes are rebated on spending up to the poverty level.
Foreign companies are forced to compete with American companies on even terms for the first time. Forty-five states already use a retail sales tax. No taxes are withheld from your paycheck. The tax rate will be reduced by approximately 25 percent.
We as taxpayers need the fair tax. If we stay with the IRS, we will all be taxed into bankruptcy. Please contact your congressional representative today and tell them to support the Fair Tax Act of 2009.
