To the Editor:
We need to appreciate what people do for the community, and how hard they work. Dr. Christine Welch, she’s the best.
The economy is bad, and still she has nine cats that were given to the clinic. Some are old and sick and need care and can’t be adopted out. She takes care of them. She works hard. She has an elderly mom, a teenage daughter and lots of animals at home to care for before leaving for work with her little Pom, Kitty.
She is on call once a month for four days for all the clinics. Being a one doctor practice, it is hard. She needs to be applauded for all she does in the clinic and in the community.
