To the Editor:
Many people have asked who are the Concerned Citizens of Waldoboro? We are a group of concerned citizens advocating for the improvement of our town by identifying issues of concern to all citizens, fact-finding and suggesting potential solutions.
We strive to ensure that town government is aware of common concerns, support more efficient government, monitor adherence to town ordinances and town charter, if established, and support qualified candidates for town office.
Our meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m., at 231 Winslows Mills Rd., Waldoboro.
We invite any concerned citizen to our meetings regardless of party affiliation. We are a non-partisan group interested in the welfare of our town.
