Use this as a reminder to make sure you have a backup policy and have run through the backup process with any data you wish to keep. All electronic devices can and will fail, so keeping a backup in an accessible and secure manner is important.
We believe we have been able to recover nearly all of the data from our site. There was substantial database corruption but the restoration of this data is progressing.
As of press time for our Thursday, May 2 edition, the site is still down, but we are working hard to restore it. When the site is back up, it will be at the same URL. We’ll post more on our social media channels when there is an update to be provided.
We have decided to postpone voting for the April #LCNme365 photo contest until such time as the website is back up and running.
We apologize to you, our readers, for the inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your patience as we try to resolve the situation as soon as possible. We need to make sure that the site is functioning properly and secure before we go live again.
