With only one new case of COVID-19 in Lincoln County in a week, it is tempting to relax and fall back into old habits.
We urge you to do the opposite.
Stay vigilant, but do not only stay vigilant.
Think about what more you can do to prevent infection, for yourself and others.
Have your mask yet?
Are you going out only for essential work, essential supplies, health care, and outdoor recreation (the last with appropriate physical distancing)?

Please stop. It is frustrating for those who continue to work essential jobs, especially those on the front lines, like workers in health care and emergency medical services.
Easter and spring are a time of hope and renewal. We hope the virus will not devastate our county, as it has others, but hope is not enough.
We will do our part to prevent infection. Will you?
