The Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Oct. 29 to Nov. 4:
Oct. 29: Chief Jason Warlick conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, and investigated a report of threatening on Main Street.
Sgt. Erick Halpin assisted another agency on Miles Center Way, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, and assisted another agency on High Street.
Oct. 30: Officer Tyson Fait gave a warning for a defect on Main Street, gave a warning for a defect on Route 1, gave a warning for speeding on Biscay Road, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, investigated a report of theft on Main Street, gave a warning for operation on Bristol Road, assisted a citizen on Miles Center Way, and gave a warning for speeding on Main Street.
Chief Warlick assisted a citizen at the police department.
Oct. 31: Officer Dwight Jones conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, assisted another agency on Ledgewood Court, and assisted another agency on Miles Street.
Officer Kyle Sylvester took a report of an erratic vehicle on Main Street.
Nov. 1: Chief Warlick conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, gave a warning for speeding on Main Street, and assisted citizens at the police department.
Officer Sylvester assisted a citizen at the police department, assisted another agency on Main Street, gave a warning for a defect on Main Street, and assisted another agency on Main Street.
Nov. 2: Sgt. Halpin assisted with an unwanted subject on Elm Street and conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester took a police information report on Coastal Market Drive and investigated an alarm on Bristol Road.
Nov. 3: Officer Mark Graham took a report of a hit-and-run motor-vehicle accident on Parking Lot Lane (no injuries) and assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester removed a traffic hazard on Chapman Street, investigated an alarm on Bristol Road, investigated an alarm on Main Street, gave a warning for a defect on Main Street, and took a report of lost property on Main Street.
Nov. 4: Officer Jones gave two warnings for speeding on Route 1, gave a warning for a stoplight violation on Main Street, and conducted speed enforcement on Route 1.
Sgt. Halpin conducted a welfare check on Ledgewood Court and investigated a car vs. deer accident on Main Street (no human injuries).
Officers responded to 139 calls for service.
