The Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity for the period of March 4-10:
March 4: Sgt. Erick Halpin assisted another agency on Main Street.
Chief Jason Warlick investigated a traffic hazard on School Street and assisted another agency on School Street.
Officer Craig Worster warned a driver for headlights and speeding on School Street, took a report of suspicious activity on Piper Mill Road, and assisted another agency on School Street.
March 5: Officer Kyle Sylvester assisted with a parking problem on Parking Lot Lane, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, assisted a citizen at the police department, assisted a citizen on School Street, and removed a traffic hazard on Egypt Road.
Chief Warlick assisted another agency on Main Street and removed a traffic hazard on Church Street.
Officer Worster assisted a citizen at the police department and gave a warning for failure to use turn signal on Water Street.
March 6: Chief Warlick investigated an alarm on Belvedere Road, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Main Street, and took a report of an erratic vehicle on Elm Street.
Officer Sylvester assisted another agency on Miles Street, assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Bristol Road, gave a warning for a defect on Main Street, and took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1.
March 7: Chief Warlick gave a warning for speeding on Main Street, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, assisted a citizen on Miles Street, investigated a motor-vehicle accident on Main Street (no injuries), assisted a citizen at the police department, took a police information report on Main Street, and assisted a citizen on School Street.
Officer Sylvester gave a warning for a stop sign violation on Main Street and assisted another agency on Meadow Court.
March 8: Officer Worster investigated a motor-vehicle accident on Main Street, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, took a police information report on Main Street, assisted another agency on Belvedere Road, and assisted another agency on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1.
March 9: Sgt. Halpin took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, gave a warning for operation on Route 1, assisted another agency on Keene Woods Road, assisted a citizen at the police department, and assisted another agency on Brook Lane.
Officer Worster gave a warning for a defect on Coastal Market Drive.
March 10: Sgt. Halpin took a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Main Street.
Officer Worster assisted with a parking problem on Parking Lot Lane.
Officers responded to 135 calls for service.
