The Damariscotta Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as it investigates a hit-and-run accident on Main Street the afternoon of Monday, Sept. 4.
A gold Hyundai Elantra sedan parked in front of The Waltz Soda Fountain sustained significant rear-end damage around 4:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, according to Damariscotta Police Chief Jason Warlick.
The department asks anyone with information about the accident to call the station at 563-1909.
