Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Feb. 15, Robert L. Lacombe, 33, of Waldoboro, was arrested for violating condition of release and on a warrant for unpaid fines, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy William Owen.
Feb. 17, Timothy S. Hubbard, 34, of Sanford, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines in connection with a previous charge of operating after suspension, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Feb. 21, Wayne T. Little, 27, of Jefferson, was arrested for aggravated assault, two counts; domestic violence criminal threatening; and obstructing report of a crime, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus, who was assisted by Reserve Deputy Dwight Fowles.
On Feb. 14, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in Bristol involving Wallace W. Chadwick, 72, of New Harbor, and Ethan K. Fink, 44, of Bristol. Chadwick was entering Harrington Road from his driveway in his 2012 Chevrolet Impala. Fink was operating his 2010 Toyota Tundra westbound. Chadwick failed to notice Fink’s vehicle due to the high snowbank and pulled out and struck Fink’s vehicle. Fink’s vehicle went off the road and into a snowbank. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 14, an accident occurred on Cape Hill Road in Jefferson involving John H. Mellor, 61, of Whitefield, and Irving S. Banks, 48, of Jefferson. Banks was backing his 2011 Dodge Ram out of Cape Hill Road while plowing near a large snowbank and backed out into the roadway. Mellor was operating his 1994 Chevrolet 1500 southbound on South Clary Road and struck Banks’ vehicle. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 14, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Gordon A. Libby, 62, of Waldoboro. Libby was operating his 1987 winged plow truck, plowing snowbanks back for the town of Jefferson. Libby’s plow truck struck a Central Maine Power Co. pole, breaking the pole. Deputy Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 15, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Dustin Campbell, 32, of Waldoboro, and Gordon K. Winchenbach, 81, of Friendship. Campbell was operating his 2006 GMC 1500 southbound and Winchenbach was following Campbell in his 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. Campbell slowed for a left turn and Winchenbach struck the rear of Campbell’s vehicle. Deputy Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 15, an accident occurred on Ridge Road in Newcastle involving Maryanne R. Campbell, 46, of Waterville. Campbell was operating her 2013 Toyota Rav4 southbound when she lost control of her vehicle and slid off the road on the right side, striking some branches, which damaged the passenger-side mirror and the plastic front bumper. Deputy Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 16, an accident occurred on Fogler Road in Bristol involving Joel K. Leeman, 36, of Damariscotta, and Scott Gove, 51, of Damariscotta. Leeman was operating his 2004 Dodge Ram eastbound and Gove was backing his 2002 Chevrolet from a driveway off of Fogler Road. Gove was plowing when he backed into the roadway and struck Leeman’s vehicle. Deputy Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 18, an accident occurred on Cross Road in Alna involving Cody M. Drummond, 21, of Augusta. Drummond was operating his 2008 Ford F-250 northbound when the right front tire locked up. This resulted in the vehicle going off the roadway and striking a tree, causing passenger-side front-end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 19, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Brian E. Main, 36, of Edgecomb. Main was operating his 2001 Buick southbound when he struck a patch of black ice. As a result, he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the centerline, and continued off the road. His vehicle struck the snowbank and rolled over, coming to rest on its roof. Deputy Drake was the investigating officer.
