Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On April 11, Deputy Chase Bosse was dispatched to a report of a blue/purple Roadmaster bicycle found in the Edgecomb area. The bike was brought back to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.
Summons
April 15, William A. Huber, 48, of Hope, was issued a summons for operating after suspension, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Detective Scott Hayden.
Arrests
April 12, Edward Larrabee, 68, of Whitefield, was arrested for operating under the influence, operating while license is suspended or revoked, and failure to register vehicle, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Aaron Beck.
April 13, Brian J. Emmons, 40, of Wiscasset, was arrested for violating condition of release, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy James Read.
April 14, Casey J. Ryder, 26, of Boothbay, was arrested on a warrant for burglary of a motor vehicle and theft, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
April 14, Zoie Sprague, 19, of Edgecomb, was arrested for operating under the influence, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
April 15, Jessica E. Debella, 30, of Whitefield, was arrested for operating under the influence and for an outstanding warrant for contempt of court, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
April 15, Daniel Kilmer, 23, of West China, was arrested for operating under the influence, on Sand Hill Road, Somerville, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On April 11, an accident occurred on Dock Road in Alna involving Robert A. Owens, 70, of Alna. Owens was operating his 1988 Dodge Dakota southbound when he stated he noticed a burning smell. As a result, he pulled the vehicle over slightly and the engine/passenger compartment caught on fire. Deputy Bosse was the investigating officer.
On April 12, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Damariscotta involving Tyler Medeiros, 22, of Riverside, R.I. Medeiros was operating his 2003 Subaru Legacy northbound when he struck a deer crossing the roadway, causing minor damage to the driver’s side quarter panel and side mirror. Deputy Poirier was the investigating officer.
On April 12, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Taylor G. Saulnier, 20, of Gardiner. Saulnier was operating his 2001 Subaru Legacy westbound when a deer entered the roadway from the northbound ditch and was struck. Deputy Dennison was the investigating officer.
On April 14, an accident occurred on Cedar Grove Road in Dresden involving Fred A. Hall, 69, of Dresden. Hall was operating his 2008 Hyundai Accent northbound when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle and was struck. Deputy Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On April 16, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Daniel O. Pallis, 28, of Dresden. Pallis was operating his 2009 Jeep southbound when he stated he dropped his cellphone and when he looked up, his vehicle had crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic. His vehicle then continued to the left side to avoid traffic, left the roadway, and struck a mailbox with the front passenger corner. Reserve Deputy Dwight Fowles was the investigating officer.
