Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Aug. 15, Nicholas C. Robbins, 25, of Whitefield, was issued summonses for failing to make oral or written accident report and leaving scene of motor vehicle accident, on Old County Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Aug. 15, Tyler Cutler, 26, of Milo, was arrested on a Dover-Foxcroft District Court warrant for failure to pay fines, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Matthew Day.
Aug. 16, William E. Ball, 30, of Bristol, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
Aug. 17, Joey Lee Peaslee, 35, of Jefferson, was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to report, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Aug. 19, Caroline R. Hyson, 31, of South Bristol, was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, on Middle Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
Aug. 20, Virgil Cray Jr., 45, of Warren, was arrested on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for violation of bail and violating condition of release, on Pemaquid Villas Road, Bristol, by Deputy John Braley.
Aug. 20, Allen L. Fogg, 28, of Jefferson, was arrested for a probation violation, on Bunker Hill Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Mark Bridgham.
Aug. 22, Courtney E. Peaslee, 25, of Whitefield, was arrested for assault, criminal mischief, and violating condition of release, on Petticoat Acres Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Poirier.
On Aug. 15, an accident occurred on River Road in Boothbay involving Alifeleti Vailea, 33, of Boothbay Harbor. Vailea was operating his 2002 GMC 2500 westbound when he fell asleep. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. Vailea was hauling a trailer with lawnmowers on it. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 16, an accident occurred on Bristol Road involving William E. Ball, 30, of Bristol. Ball was operating his 1996 Ford F-150 northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. As a result, his vehicle rolled into a ditch after striking a fence. Deputy Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 17, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Katherine M. Clark, 27, of Wiscasset, and Cameron J. Young, 24, of Woolwich. Young had stopped his 2004 GMC 1500 on Main Street to let a pedestrian cross in a marked crosswalk. Clark said she looked down briefly and, when she looked up, Young was stopped. Clark was unable to stop and, as a result, her 2016 Nissan Sentra struck the rear of Young’s vehicle. Sgt. Day was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 20, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Edgecomb involving Lisa C. Scott, 52, of Jefferson. Scott was operating her 2013 Chevrolet Malibu northbound when she fell asleep. As a result, her vehicle went off the roadway on the right side and struck a tree. Her vehicle continued back onto the road where it came to its final rest approximately 100 yards north of the struck tree. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.
On Aug. 21, an accident occurred on Ocean Point Road in Boothbay involving Corey A. Payer, 40, of Portland. Payer was operating his 2013 Toyota Prius westbound when a deer crossed the road in front of him and was struck. Damage was caused to the passenger-side headlight and hood. Deputy Poirier was the investigating officer.
