The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 273 calls for the period of Nov. 15-20. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 18,451 calls.
Nov. 17, Jessica Baker, 25, of Rumford, was issued a summons for trafficking in prison contraband by Detective Scott Hayden.
Nov. 18, Anna E. Rushlau, 22, of Dresden was issued a summons for operating under the influence, on Alna Road, Alna, by Deputy Chase Bosse.
Nov. 15, Vincent P. Maltese, 52, of Jefferson, was arrested for two counts of violating condition of release, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
Nov. 17, Jaymi L. Hutchins, 31, of Rochester, N.H., was arrested on a York County warrant for failure to appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Nov. 17, Brian J. Bennett, 37, of Waldoboro, was arrested for criminal conspiracy, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Hayden.
Nov. 17, Douglas Cote, 29, of Rumford, was arrested for criminal conspiracy, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Hayden.
Nov. 19, Andrea L. Giles, 47, of Boothbay, was arrested for domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal mischief, on Matthews Road, Boothbay, by Deputy John Braley.
On Nov. 14, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Lisa Read, 41, of Damariscotta, and Promis L. Bryant, 40, of Newcastle. Bryant was operating her 2015 Toyota Rav4 southbound and yielding to traffic on the on-ramp. Read was operating her 2008 Honda CRV behind Bryant’s vehicle when she struck the back of it. Deputy Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 15, an accident occurred on East Shore Road on Westport Island involving Brycen C. Bennett-Nein, 22, of Westport Island. Bennett-Nein was operating his 2005 Dodge Caravan northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the right side and was struck. Deputy Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 17, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Nancy M. Carter, 66, of Thomaston, and Brady-Anne Cushing, 41, of Bath. Carter had stopped her Ford Escape at the intersection of Middle Road and Route 27 and Cushing was making a left-hand turn in her 2016 Jeep Cherokee onto Middle Road from Route 27. Cushing cut the corner too sharply and struck the front of Carter’s vehicle. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 17, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Brett E. Plummer, 60, of Westport Island. Plummer was operating his 2017 Ford F-350 southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the right side of the road and was struck. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 17, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Erica E. Powell, 33, of Bristol. Powell was operating her 2006 GMC 2500 northbound when a deer ran out from the right side of the roadway and struck the front passenger side corner of her vehicle. Deputy Braley was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 18, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Anna E. Rushlau, 22, of Dresden. Rushlau was operating her 2003 Subaru Forester northbound when she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, her vehicle entered the shoulder of the road, overturned, and came to final rest overturned against a standing tree. Deputy Bosse was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 19, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Matthew W. Dorsey, 51, of Wiscasset. Dorsey was operating his 2008 Ford Crown Victoria southbound when he lost control of his vehicle and went off the right-hand side of the road. When he tried to get back on the road, he overcorrected, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway off the left side, where it struck several trees and a mailbox before coming to rest. Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner was the investigating officer.
